A specialist chemical manufacturer is looking to recruit a QC Analyst to support its Quality Control function. Working closely with the QC Lead and QHSE team, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and products meet required specifications, while supporting ongoing production and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine documentation, maintenance, and QC tasks as directed by the QC Lead.
- Preparing samples and performing analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, Karl Fischer and titrations.
- Recording, reviewing, and maintaining accurate analytical data within internal systems.
- Supporting method development, updates, and documentation to ensure robust and compliant procedures.
- Assisting with investigations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across QC, production, and R&D.
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, FTIR, Karl Fischer and titration techniques.
- Understanding of quality control processes within chemical or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
